Swimming and Bermo

This weekend, Joshy got to go swimming in Grandpa and Grandma's pool for the first time. His trunks are a little too big, but isn't he adorable?

It was such a beautiful day!



Friday, we joined Mike's parents in the twice-a-year phenomenon known as the "Bermo Sale." It is a huge sale held in warehouse, with boxes of clothing, accessories and other various items stacked to the ceiling. Everything is DIRT CHEAP! The above picture is of the "cart" each shopper is given when he/she enters the sale. It is comprised of a box, some rope and a piece of garden hose for its handle. Hundreds of people flood the warehouse pulling these "carts" behind them - it's quite a sight! Mike managed to score a shirt for $3 - YEAH!



The rest of Friday was spent at Grandpa and Grandma's. Mike continues to fervently study for his classis exams - only 3 more days 'til he is home-free!



Daddy and Grandpa also washed and waxed our car, and today Mike and I cleaned out the inside - it looks like a completely different car! Now, can we manage to keep it that way for a little while????? ;-)



One of Joshua's newest tricks is sitting up...it is still a work-in-progress! He cannot get himself into this position yet, but if we sit him up, he can balance himself for quite a while! An adult is always nearby, just in case he decides to flip backward!



Daddy took a few breaks from studying to play with his little buddy, and Mom and Dad Holleman watched the babe so Mike and I could go out for dinner last night. We love every second with our little guy, but it was nice to be able to spend some time together, just the two of us!



Check out the drool on that shirt! The shorts are WAY too huge, but so cute, I couldn't resist!



He must have seen something shocking on the TV!



Playing with the toy Grandpa and Grandma Holleman scored for a super price at a garage sale - it keeps him entertained for a long time!

Tonight we went for a walk downtown and now we're about to pop in a movie and kick back for the evening! Tomorrow's weather is supposed to be absolutely BEAUTIFUL! Can't wait!
