Thank You!

What a great week we've had in the Holleman household!



The weather has been beautiful (finally a little bit cooler!), so, of course, we had to get out and enjoy it!



Joshua has been busy learning how to crawl...this is still a work-in-progress, but he is getting pretty good (and giving his Mommy and Daddy a run for our money!)!



Most of our week has been filled with packing and cleaning our apartment.



Today was moving day! It was difficult to leave our friends at the Red Bricks - so many wonderful memories have been made in this place!



We had so many friends and family show up to help us load up everything into a 26-foot U-Haul! The place looked so sad after everything was out...



Joshy needed a nap after all that hard work!



And now we are resting up at Mom and Dad Holleman's house, thinking about unpacking a few things...maybe tomorrow? :-)



Joshua is loving having room to roam with no boxes, bags, totes, or packing tape to impede his crawling!



Thank you, once again, to everyone who helped us today - the move couldn't have gone any smoother, and we love and appreciate you all so much!

Muted Mondays: Baby Days

Weekend Recap

We ran into some awful storms, but this was the sight we were blessed with afterward!

Boxes, Changes and a Check-up

What a wonderful week we've had so far!



Once again, the majority of our time has been spent packing boxes and cleaning our apartment. You wouldn't know it if you looked around - the place is a disaster - but we are certainly making some gains!



Joshy has been changing so much lately. He is learning so many new things! He has started to say, "Da-da-da-da." Mike likes to think this is directed at him, but it's really just baby babble. ;-) So cute, though!



Joshua LOVES standing. He can't get himself into this position yet, but if we stand him up with something to hold onto, he'll stay standing for quite a while.



Another new development is rocking back and forth on his hands and knees. And he is getting around EVERYWHERE by scooting and rolling! Good thing most of our stuff is already packed up - there isn't much for him to get into!



Phew! That's hard work, Momma!



We are also still working on getting those teeth...the bottom ones are getting close! For now, he just chews on everything he can get his hands on!



Today was Joshua's 6-mo. well-baby appointment. At 6 months 3 weeks he weighs 22 lbs. 15 oz. and is 28.75" long! No wonder I can hardly keep clothes on the kid, he grows out of them so quickly! The doctor said we can now start feeding him table food and trying to teach him to use a sippy cup. Today he got to try pancakes and he LOVED them! The sippy cup thing may take awhile...he wants US to hold it for him so he can drink out of it! Little booger!

This week we have been very blessed to be able to spend lots of time with friends and family. We are so thankful for each and every one of you and for the very important roles you play in our lives!
