7 Months

 Luke turned 7 months while we were on vacation, and I never got a chance to do his 7-month post, so here it is!

 Lukey, I just can't believe we are now closer to your FIRST BIRTHDAY than we are to your actual birth day.  How is that possible?!?!

 You are such a fun baby.  You are always cooing, blowing bubbles, or screeching with glee.

 Lately, you can often be found with your big toe in your mouth.  So flexible!

 You love riding in the Baby Bjorn, although I think we are going to have to retire it until the next baby comes along.  You are just getting too big!

You are so playful, and LOVE it when your big brother stops to play with you.  Even if he just sits next to you, you are over the moon just to be near him!  Once you are more mobile, I have a feeling you will be busy following him around!

 One of my favorite things you do is to grab my face with both hands, pull my face close to yours and give me a big slobbery kiss.  I remember Joshua doing this at the same age, and I think it is just so sweet!

 Just like your brother, you love music!  If Momma starts singing to you, you grin from ear to ear!  I hope you always like my singing, no matter how bad it is, hehe!

 You have a much better outlook toward food now.  You get 3 meals a day:  usually a yogurt for breakfast, a fruit for lunch and a veggie for dinner.  You love food so much that you try to grab the spoon out of our hands and shove it into your mouth because we don't move quickly enough for you!  And you still nurse 7-8 times a day!  I could make a day job out of just feeding you and your ravenous older brother, haha!  But I wouldn't have it any other way!

 Recently, you have had some fussier moments, and Momma and Daddy think your gums are bothering you.  I am guessing in another month or so, we might start seeing some teeth!

You are so expressive now.  Your face says exactly what you are thinking.  You rarely cry unless you are hungry or tired.  I have noticed recently that you and your brother have the exact. same. cry. when you are hungry!  He is already teaching you how to work your parents!  ;-)  Too funny.

 You really enjoy being outside.  Even if we are just sitting in the grass, you are so happy!  We are definitely a family who thrives on spending as much time outdoors as possible, and I love it!

 Luke, I know I've said it time and time again, but you are just such a joy!  I am so thankful to be your momma.  I pray that as you grow, you will carry the joy of the Lord in your heart!  Love you, baby boy!

A Perfect Afternoon!

 This afternoon was perfect for getting out the pools and splashing around!  Momma took over 200 photos...don't worry, there are only 26 in this post!  ;-)

 Joshua also had lots of fun running through the sprinkler!
