I would have posted these sooner, but this little stinker has an extreme fear of doctor and dentist offices! When we went for his 3-year check-up, he went bananas, screaming and crying hysterically, clinging to me all the while. Those of you who have seen him in the worst of tantrums have never seen him like this! He would NOT let the doctor touch him, and they weren't able to get his weight or height. It's a good thing no shots were required, because it would have taken both Mike and myself to hold him down. Let's just say I am hoping this is something he grows out of SOON! Haha.
Anyway, with a little trickery, Momma and Daddy were able to get his weight and height at home. At 3 years old, he weighs approximately 37 lbs. and is 39 inches tall! That's 5 lbs. and 3 in. in a year! If he keeps growing at this rate, he'll be as tall as me in a couple years! LOL. Despite the fact that he wouldn't let the doctor get too close, Dr. C. said we have us a healthy little man! Thank you, Lord, for two sweet, healthy boys!

Elsa reacts the same way at the doctor. We barely get in the office door (not even the exam room!) and she starts crying and pointing at her leg saying "boo boo". She remembers the shots much too clearly! When we go in a couple of weeks for her 2 year appt. she is not going to be thrilled. It's awful holding them down for shots!
