15 Month Stats

Today, we had Joshua's 15-month check-up! He weighed in at an even 30 lbs. and is 32.5 inches tall. While he is still pretty big for his age, he is no longer off the charts, ha! That's a first for us! Seems he is slowing down a bit, which is ok with this momma, who has already purchased his summer clothes and is really hoping they'll fit! :-) He had to have a couple shots, which is always rough, but the nurses promised him that this was his last set of shots until kindergarten! Hooray! Kindergarten seems ages away, but I am sure it'll be here before we know it...I don't want to think about it!

This morning when we got up, it was SNOWING. Ugh. Thankfully, it didn't accumulate...we are SSSOOO ready for warm temps!

Well, I'd better get going...my boys are requesting food!

Goof Ball

Here is a video of Joshua watching Daddy play Wii. He was cracking up at something...maybe Daddy was losing?



He stood there and just giggled and giggled for a good 20 minutes! What a silly boy!

Mommy's Barber Shop

As you have probably noticed from the photos in recent posts, Joshua was in need of a haircut once AGAIN. That's 3 haircuts in 5 months! Mommy decided that rather than make another appointment for him, she would just try it herself. I plopped him into the highchair, put in a movie and went to work. He sat perfectly still and watched his movie while I snipped away...what do you think of the finished product? I think he looks pretty handsome...of course, I always think that! ;-)



Today we had a play date with some new friends in Fairview. They have 2 little boys, a 2-year-old and a 5-mo-old baby. The boys had fun playing together, and the mommies had fun socializing! We are hoping the weather warms up again soon so we can have lots of play dates outside!



Little man is teething AGAIN...this time there are a couple stubborn molars trying to break through. He seems to be handling it pretty well, tough guy!

That's all the news we have for now! Time for some snacks and a movie...goodnight!

What a fun day!

The weather here has been absolutely beautiful the past couple days, with highs in the 70's! We have been taking full advantage of the warm temps!



Today, Joshua and I went for a 4-mile walk with the stroller...it felt great!



Then when Daddy got home, it was time to play in the backyard! I have a feeling this kid is going to want to spend every second of summer outside!



He did nothing but smile and giggle the whole time we were out there!



Tonight and tomorrow are supposed to be rainy and dreary, so we soaked up as much of the sunshine as we could! Thank you, Lord, for spring!

Celebrating St. Patty's

No, we are not Irish, but I thought it might be fun to start some traditions, now that Josh is getting a little older. So, last night for dinner, everything we ate was GREEN! Green pancakes and green egg bake with sausage, green peppers, spinach and zucchini. Looks a little gross, but it was delicious!



Little man devoured two whole pancakes...does this shock anyone?!?!



And for dessert? Chocolate cupcakes with green cream cheese icing. YUM!
