Kaleb's Baptism

Kaleb was baptized on Sunday, November 3rd, 2013.

We were blessed to be surrounded by many family members and friends who came to celebrate with us.

Daddy got to baptize him...what a blessing!

Someone was tuckered out after his big day!

 Kaleb Nolan, you are now a member of the family of God.  We pray that you will grow to love and know Jesus as your Lord and Savior, and that your daddy and I would raise you to live to serve Him.  We love you, precious boy!

8 Weeks

8 weeks ago at this time, I was sitting in the hospital, snuggling my sweet, tiny, not-even-24-hours-old baby.

Kaleb has developed such a sweet personality.  He is such a happy baby!

He already loves to pose for Momma's camera, LOL.

Nights have been going pretty well.  He usually sleeps 5-6 hours in the first stretch and then 3+ hours until he's ready to get up for the day.  Sometimes, he's ready to play when Momma & Daddy would really prefer another hour of sleep, but oh well.

Kaleb nurses every 2 hours during the day.  I can pretty much set my watch by him.  He has started taking one 1.5-2 hour nap in the morning and another in the afternoon, with intermittent shorter naps in-between.  He just starting "cooing" this week and it's so adorable!

 Those huge smiles are reserved for his big brothers ONLY, haha.  I happened to snap these when Luke was running past & Kaleb just lit up!

Kaleb Nolan, you are such a joy.  We feel so blessed to have you in our family, and thank God for you every day! 

Luke's Birthday Party

 Since so many of our friends and family were traveling to Fairview to celebrate Kaleb's baptism with us, we decided to hold Luke's birthday party in the same weekend.

We settled on a Despicable Me theme because he LOVES that movie!

I cannot believe that in less than 2 weeks, my sweet Lukey will be 2 years old!  Thank you to everyone who came to help us celebrate our darling boy!

Halloween 2013

 Our Halloween turned out to be a pretty dreary, rainy day, so our church's Trunk or Treat was moved inside into the fellowship hall.  Nobody really seemed to mind, and we still had a great turnout!

The day before Halloween, the 2 big boys and I went trick-or-treating to some of the local businesses with Joshua's preschool class.  What fun!  That morning, Josh had his costume on by 6:30...he was SO excited!  We rode a hayrack all around town.  The kids got way too many treats...we will probably be sending some along with Daddy to youth group next week so Momma & Daddy don't eat them all, haha!

 After lots of fun trick-or-treating, we ended our Halloween by watching Joshua's new favorite movie, Monsters University.  Hope you had a Happy Halloween!

Kaleb's First Halloween

 This is the first year I've had a "tiny" baby to dress up for Halloween...what fun!  And the adorable kid helps, LOL.

  I know I've been MIA from the blogging world for a while now...I have no idea what happened to the month of October.  I've thought about blogging numerous times, but I really don't have much to say.  So, for now, you're going to have to put up with blog posts that consist of mostly pictures and very few words.  I know you'll hate that!  ;-)  My goal is to keep up better during the month of November...we'll see how that goes, haha!

We have had a wonderful, whirlwind weekend, starting with Halloween celebrations, then Luke's birthday party, and today, Kaleb's baptism.  Thank you, friends and family who joined us this weekend!  We are so blessed...blog posts of those events coming your way in the next few days!  Hope you had a terrific weekend as well!
