Well Baby Stats

Today, Joshua had his 9-month well baby check-up. Yes, at 10 months and 1 week, lol. Moving messed up our appointment schedule a little bit, but soon we will be back on track!



At just over 10 months, the little man weighs in at 26.3 lbs. (97%), is 30 inches tall (93%) and has a head circumference of 18.5 inches (98%). Yup, that's a big noggin!



Finding a new pediatrician was a daunting task. We absolutely LOVED our pediatrician in Holland, and the thought of choosing a new one seemed scary and sad. However, when we walked into our new doctor's office, the exam room was decorated with an Iowa Hawkeyes theme. My first thoughts? I like this guy! :-)



Turns out our new doctor is from Iowa, and yes, he is GREAT! Joshy can't wait to go back in a couple months for his 1 year check-up (little does he know, that check-up involves shots...ssshhhh, don't tell him!)!



Is that an ornery look or what?! Ornery or not, we are just thankful for a healthy, sweet little boy who brings us so much joy!

Dinner and Dessert

Tonight was spaghetti night.



And for dessert? Leftover Halloween cupcakes...YUM!



*GASP* Who made this mess?!?!?!



Oh that's right...I did! And THEY have to clean it up...tee-hee-hee! :-)

10 months old today...when did THAT happen?!?!



At 10 months, Joshua is learning so many new things! He now says, "dada" and "mama" when prompted, gives high fives and kisses, and waves "bye-bye."



He is constantly on the move and never stops talking!



This kid just gets sweeter by the day!

Movie Marathon!

We have had a busy couple of weeks around here, so we decided that this afternoon seemed like a good time to kick back for a movie marathon! Our movies of choice...



Episodes IV, V & VI. Keisha and Richard, you should be proud! ;-)



Mommy, these movies are great!



The movies were good, and the snuggle time was even better!



Poor little guy only made it through 1.5 movies...he is now sleeping while Mommy and Daddy pop in the last one! Gotta love these relaxing Sunday afternoons!

Weekend Recap

This weekend, Mike's parents drove down from Michigan to visit us.



Friday morning, Joshy anxiously waited by the front door.
When are they gonna get here, Mommy?????



Grandpa and Grandma brought delicious Halloween-themed cupcakes, which our little munchkin promptly devoured!



As is tradition, we played LOTS of games. Joshua loves to sit on someone's lap and "participate." He was helping Grandma play Wizard.



He LOVES when his grandpas and grandmas come to visit!



Saturday morning breakfast of chocolate chip muffins - YUMMY! The picture doesn't even begin to show the disaster...chocolate in his ears, nose, hair, and belly button. This calls for a bath!



Saturday afternoon we went to Peoria to do some shopping. Our little man was so sleepy (he stubbornly skipped his nap), but still a very happy little shopper!



Eating out at Applebee's. Grandpa was cracking him up!



Thanks, Mom and Dad, for making the trip down to see us! We are so blessed to have such wonderful parents! We love you!
