A Camping We Will Go!

My parents recently purchased a camper, so this weekend we took it out to Lake Red Rock for its maiden voyage. Yep, in the middle of October. It was 85 degrees! :-D



This was Joshua's first experience with camping, and he LOVED it!

Another of my favorite things about camping is just sitting around the campfire, chatting, telling stories and playing games. So relaxing!



While the daily highs were in the 80's, the mornings/evenings were a bit chilly (it is October, after all!), so we were glad we brought our sweatshirts!



Mom and Dad brought this little lawn chair for Joshua. He can't sit in it for very long without falling over, but I had to snap a quick picture. Doesn't he look SO GROWN UP?????



What a great weekend! We can't wait to head out again next summer for some more camping excursions!

Furniture and Football

Mike has Fridays off, so yesterday we headed into Canton to do our usual Friday grocery shopping. On our way home, we passed some garage sales, and, of course, we HAD to stop!



I wasn't really expecting to find anything, but we walked away with this awesome DVD tower...



...AND this bedside table for only $22! I was ecstatic! :-D



Last night we attended the North Fulton homecoming football game. It was Joshua's first football game, and he had a blast! Wildcats won 38-8!



He can't wait to PLAY football! ;-)

A Weekend in Iowa

This past weekend, Joshua and I traveled to Iowa to visit family and friends. We visited my Great-Grandma Rozendaal and had another 5-generations photo taken!



Since Mike was unable to come along, we took lots of photos to document our weekend!

Surprise!

This weekend, friends and family gathered in Pella to celebrate my wonderful Grams' birthday! The surprise was a success!
