He's Here!

Luke Brennan Holleman was born Monday, November 14, 2011 at 8:54 a.m.

He weighed 8 lbs. 7 oz. (this is exactly what Joshua weighed - how crazy/awesome is that?!?!) and is 20.25 inches long.

He looks SO MUCH like his big brother did as a newborn!

We came home Tuesday afternoon, and this week has been a whirlwind since! I have LOTS more pictures to share, but will keep them for future blog posts. :-)

It is amazing how this sweet boy, who is only 3 days old, seems like he has been part of our family forever...we just can't imagine anything different! We are so thankful to God for our two healthy, precious boys!

While Momma was upstairs picking up this morning, look who was being sneaky...

He got the bread out of the bread drawer and figured out how to remove the twist tie. This is how I found him, happily helping himself!

What, Momma? I was HUNGRY.

The kid had just eaten breakfast! No food is safe around here...this boy is seriously a bottomless pit! What are we going to do when we have TWO boys?!?!

MIA

I know, I know, I have been MIA from the blogging world for the past few days. I realized that might make some of you think something was going on in Baby Land, so I thought I'd better post an update. No news in Baby Land, by the way...trust me, we will let you all know when little man decides to make his entrance!

Last night our church packed and wrapped 40 boxes for Operation Christmas Child. What an amazing ministry! To learn more about Operation Christmas Child and how you can participate, check out: http://www.samaritanspurse.org/index.php/OCC/.

The reason I have not posted anything recently is...well...we really haven't been doing much! Haha. Lame, I know. We've just been hanging out at home for the most part; I have been doing lots of cleaning and getting projects done to prepare for Baby Brother's arrival...9 days to due date, in case you were wondering. :-)

38 Weeks

Had my 38-week check-up today. Again, nothing new to report. Baby is doing great! Momma is still feeling pretty well...just getting anxious for his arrival! Please ignore the exhausted expression...I did not sleep well last night and am definitely feeling the effects of lack of sleep!

Just 12 days away from our due date! We are so ready to meet him! But, we want him to be big and healthy, so we are trying to be patient and trust in God's timing. So thankful and blessed!

November!

Can you believe it is actually November already?!?! Baby Boy's birth month! I remember thinking back in March that November seemed AGES away, and now, here we are - just 2 weeks from our due date! Getting VERY excited!

We got our flu shots last week and they weighed and measured Joshua. At 22 months, he weighs 32 lbs. 10 oz. & is 35.5" tall! That is one healthy little boy! I can't wait to see if his little brother follows in his footsteps! Perhaps we will have TWO linebackers on our hands!
