Grin and Bear It

I know, I know, it has been 3 whole days since I blogged! That may not seem like a lot to some of you, but to those grandpas and grandmas waiting for photos of the little guy, it seems like forever! :-)

Our week has been busy, busy, busy thus far! Our days have been filled with packing and organizing, and we've had dinner with friends or family every night! We feel so very blessed to have the friends and family that we do!

Joshua has had a bit of a rough week. One word - TEETHING. This has definitely been an interesting experience for two first-time parents! Our usually bubbly, sweet-tempered little boy has been cranky and tearful. Of course, who wouldn't be? Mike read somewhere that teething is one of the most painful experiences we humans endure throughout our entire lifespans! POOR BABY!

Despite the pain and bouts of fussiness, our little tyke still manages to amaze us with his joyful personality!

When the packing and cleaning become too monotonous and we begin to feel frustrated and discouraged, Joshy's smiles and giggles remind us that we are so very BLESSED in so many ways! If he can "grin and bear it" through the painful process of teething, then we most definitely can approach our packing and moving with joyful spirits!

Thank you, Lord, that our lives are in your hands and your plan is bigger than anything we could imagine!

Love to you all,
M, K & JJ
